The International Folklore Festival is an annual festival held in the Hermitage Gardens in the centre of Moscow.

This is a melting spot of creative juices: mingling, inspiring and stimulating. Voices of the World together present a variety of music and musicians. Participants include ethnic music and dance collectives from Russia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Great Britain, Italy, Germany and France.

In the previous festival the opening programme was presented by Boris Grebenshchikov, includes the well- known modern Armenian musician Djivan Gasparyan, Volga, a unique ethno- electronic project led by Angela Manukyan, Alexey Borisov and Mullarit .

The first day of the festival saw the Breton folk legend, multi- instrumentalist Alan Stivell take to the stage for his first performance in Russia.

Even the children showed active participation on the platforms. The organizers have made these festivals a very fascinating cultural program for all participants.
