International Moscow airport Vnukovo, situated 11 km away from Moscow, is one of the largest airports in Russia. They have 80 regular flights in Russia, to Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Germany, Bulgaria and Turkey.

The main runway meets all modern requirements that ensure safety and regularity of flights. The airfield itself has two intersecting runways of 3000 m and 3060 m in length. Each runway is 60 meters wide. The runways' joint capacity is 60 aircraft movements per hour. The types may range from tiny business jets to medium- haul jetliners like 757s to the cargo super heavy lifter AN- 124- 100 Ruslan.

At 204 meters above sea level Vnukovo International is also the highest located airfield among Moscow's airports, which gives it an undisputable edge. It is functional even during odd weather conditions and limited visibility conditions such as dense fogs, heavy showers, blizzards.
